Open a checking account at Imperial, while holding a minimum of $2,500.00 (two thousand five hundred dollars) in a savings account and/or a certificate of deposit, and avoid maintenance fees. It only takes $50.00 (fifty dollars) to open the checking account of relationship banking. If your balances fall below the minimum of $2,500.00 during the statement cycle, a maintenance fee will be imposed. Interest is paid on the checking account each cycle also.
